What is Dialogs? Dialogs is an application which provides an extra tool-palette for the FaceSpan authoring environment. What does Dialogs do? Dialogs allows you to automatically create dialog-boxes which conform to the Mac OS user-interface, without any scripting and without tedious step-by-step creation in FaceSpan. Dialogs also offers advice about how to correctly obey the rules of Macintosh interfaces in your own applications, and gives examples of correct wording in, for example, alert boxes. What do I need to use Dialogs? Obviously, you need to have the FaceSpan authoring application, and the accompanying FaceSpan Extension. How does Dialogs integrate with the FaceSpan environment? When you launch Dialogs, it will automatically launch your copy of FaceSpan, and position itself as a floating palette below the usual FaceSpan tools. You use Dialogs completely from within FaceSpan; you'll never have to go into the Dialogs application itself for any reason. You can even quit Dialogs from within FaceSpan.
