System Services for Mac OS X

System Services provide functionality regardless of what applications you're using. Once installed, they are accessed from the Services submenu in the application menu (the one to the right of the Apple menu), and often act on the selected text in the frontmost application.

Here are some System Services we've created - we hope you'll find them useful. Unless otherwise stated, all System Services were built on Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) or later.

Objective-C Services Click the icon to download. (StuffIt archive, encoded as Binhex - 37k) Provides services to convert multiple Objective-C instance variable declarations to accessor method prototypes and implementations. Very useful for Cocoa programmers! Includes full source code.

Copy File Path Service Click the icon to download. (StuffIt archive, encoded as Binhex - 20k) Provides a service to copy the full path of the selected file in the Finder.
